Teva: Bormio Men’s Insulated Boot:: Review

Teva Bormio MEN

The Teva Bormio is a boot that I have wanted to test for a while but until recently, the absence of snow around the Cincinnati area has made wearing a winter boot a moot point. The Bormio is a new boot from Teva that is one of the lightest winter boots on the market. The Bormio is a stylish boot with a rubber and suede leather upper. The Bormio is ruggedly constructed and is also somewhat waterproof which makes it ideal if you’re sloshing around in the white stuff. The Bormio is also one of the warmest winter boots that I have ever worn which is great, however the boot can become uncomfortably warm when worn indoors. Why wear a winter boot indoors? Well, if you’re out and about as much as I am, why bother changing shoes during nasty weather? The Bormio complements not changing shoes by being as comfortable as a high-top sneaker which means you can wear it all day without experiencing fatigue. Unfortunately, the Bormio has a sole like a similar to a sneaker and does not provide as much traction as a boot should during this slippery season. Overall, the Bormio is a solid boot for casual wear and tear and is suitable for those in snowed in urban areas.
