3 Pill Morning is currently wrapping up a tour with Smile Empty Soul as they gear up for the summer run with Sevendust and the release of their label debut, Black Tie Love Affair on July 17th via A2Z / Page 2 Music / eOne. The first single from Black Tie Love Affair, “Rain,” is currently impacting radio, and it was actually one of the TOP 10 MOST ADDED active rock tracks last week. Black Tie Love Affair is the follow-up to the band’s successful independent release, Take Control, which produced the hit single, “Loser”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvEpLhQBBzw. The song was a mainstay on the Active Rock radio chart for nearly 6 months last year, despite the lack of any label backing. The song reappears on Black Tie Love Affair as one of the 10 tracks on this collection’s memorable playlist.
On Black Tie Love Affair, 3PM has undoubtedly evolved its catchy, pop/rock sound in every aspect. For their label debut, the group sought the experience and expertise of producer/engineer, Jon King, who has made a name for himself as a career kick-starter for bands like Augustana, Throwing Gravity, Future Leaders Of The World and more. The upcoming release was recorded at King’s, Page 2 Studios, in Tennessee last winter. The result of this collaboration is a unique blend of hard-hitting rock, sing-along pop choruses and 80s electronica, which is sure to stir up a buzz in the world of rock n’ roll.
