1FATHER YOD & THE SOURCE FAMILY’S THE THOUGHT ADJUSTERS STREAMING
Ahh…Some Source Family news to warm the cockles of your heart. That sounds obscene, doesn’t it?
The Thought Adjusters is the latest release from Father Yod & The Source Family and the third archival Source Family release by Drag City. The record is out May 22nd, and KCET Artbound, a new online publication by the Southern and Central California community television station, is streaming the album in its entirety. Where better than the birthplace of the prolific psychedelic spiritualists, who opened LA’s first health food restaurant in the early 70s, to premiere the record? And how better to experience the shared language and everyday learnings of Father and the Family than in the immersive environs of the entire album experience from beginning to end? Accompanying the record stream is a marvelous article about The Source Family by Artbound’s Caroline Ryder called “Meet The New Aquarians.” This also comes in close proximity to the impending release of the The Source, a documentary chronicling the story of Father Yod and his disciples. It’s the return of Aquarius, people. Turn on, tune off (to the full album stream), and drop in to the natural truths as revealed by one of the 70′s most out-there estimated prophets.
