New : M83 :: Midnight City
“Midnight City” finds M83 (Anthony Gonzalez) in full on 80’s mode sounding like Peter Gabriel with an appropriately alien keyboard squelch. Check out the artwork to the single and you’ll get what I’m alluding to. “Midnight City” has that late night feel too, it’s something that you could listen to after the clubs are closed and you’re on the way to IHOP or Taco Bell given your predisposition to people breakdancing in the parking lot. “Midnight City” is taken from M83’s upcoming double album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming which is available on October 18th which seems awfully far away right now.
