Sam Main cropped 300x186 SAM BRADLEY ANNOUNCES FIRST NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINING TOUR THIS SPRING

UK born/Canadian based songwriter Sam Bradley has announced his first headlining tour of North America this Spring, kicking off April 27 in Ottawa, ON and wrapping June 7 in Philadelphia, PA. Bradley spent the fall on the road in North America solo supporting Brooke Fraser and his sophomore EP, Zuni, released in November. The upcoming tour will feature Bradley with his bandmates. A mix of rock, folk, soul and blues, Bradley worked with producer Gavin Brown (Metric/Billy Talent) on the bulk of the EP, recording in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON. Throughout Bradley shows a dynamic range and knack for writing unforgettable songs.

Bradley was born in London and educated everywhere from Hong Kong to Nashville. He left school at sixteen and the idea of being a singer, songwriter and artist was born. Part of his inspiration to make music his full-time passion came from observing close friend Marcus Foster at work, and another part came from performing with his mother, Canadian folk musician Lee Lindsey. He started by recording music at home and performing at open mic nights but in 2008, Bradley’s anonymity was quickly revoked. His song “Too Far Gone” was included in the first Twilight film as a gentle compliment to the movie’s dinner scene. Co-written by the film’s lead actor Robert Pattinson, the track made its way onto the film’s soundtrack via Pattinson’s version entitled “Never Think.” It provided the jumping off point to begin production on Sam’s first formal release.
