Okkervil River : Wake and Be Fine :: Official Video
Okkervil River’s “Wake and Be Fine” received its official video debut courtesy of npr.org today. The Daniel Gibbs directed video features the band playing the number in front of the lyrics, which oddly enough seems to be sort of a video cliché nowadays. I’m not against this sort of thing but it’s getting a bit overdone if I don’t say so myself. I guess I’m a party pooper but whatever, the track is cool and I’m anxiously awaiting the release of the new album, “I Am Very Far” which will be out May 10th on Jagjaguwar.
