New : The Kills :: DNA
Although I have ragged on Alison Mosshart in the past with her other group The Dead Weather, I’m going to have to eat crow on the menacing “DNA,” her new track with original group The Kills. It still sounds like Jack White is lingering in the guitar zone but I know he’s not on this track which is a little too dubby for Jack’s tastes methinks. You know what’s almost funny is that I would rather post more stuff like this rather than some of the polypop horseshit and Kate Bush knockoffs that I have been posting today. I do it all for you dear reader and if I don’t know what you’d prefer to read or hear, then the hodge podge of alt. rock also rans gets posted. Oh yeah, the background singing was provided by The REV Gospel Collective and “DNA” can be found on the forthcoming release, “Blood Pressures” which will be available on April 5th.
