Since I’m not a fan of Kate Bush it wouldn’t be fair for me to critique the similar sounds of the Toronto-based band, Austra. If you haven’t guessed it, I can’t get too excited for synth pop with warbly, high-pitched bird-like vocals. I guess that’s a critique, isn’t it? Regardless, “Lose It” is presented for your entertainment (not mine) and is available on Austra’s forthcoming debut, “Feel It Break” which is out on May 17 via Domino.
