Tom Waits to release “Seeds On Hard Ground”
The legendary Tom Waits is releasing a limited first edition chap book of his poem, “Seeds on Hard Ground” through his website in collaboration with Anti Records to raise funds for homeless services and to bring attention to the growing problem in today’s current economic crisis. The poem will be published in its entirety on Tom’s website at http://www.tomwaits.com/news/. The poem is a lyrical ballad dedicated to the people who were pushed to the margins of society.
All proceeds of the poem, which is limited to 1,000 copies, will go to Redwood Food Bank, Sonoma County’s Homeless Referral Services and Family Support Center operated by Catholic Charities.
