The Drums Take CMJ By Storm
The Drums wrapped up a successful national tour with Surfer Blood last Wednesday night, with a sold out show at Webster Hall in addition to a KEXP live session and performing as the special guest at Stereogum’s CMJ event. The band’s electrifying performances garnered praise from SPIN, WNYC, Village Voice, V Man, Daily Candy and many more, topping countless “best of CMJ” lists and cementing their spot as NYCs great hope in 2010! A colorful new video for album track “Me and the Moon,” co-directed by The Drums and Surround was released yesterday and shows the band in a bit of a different light, playful non-performance and simple settings make for instantly classic video magic.
