Jeremy Messersmith Announces June Tour
Jeremy’s music takes cues from ’60s Beach Boys, Beatles and Zombies-influenced chamber pop and classic pop. He puts his own energy and spin on the pop formula, and has a genuine talent for writing updated, instantly-memorable songs. His music has been featured on NPR, MTV and “Ugly Betty” among others. While featuring the track “Violet!” as the “Song of the Day” (mp3 download available for posting here), NPR called The Reluctant Graveyard “one of the year’s sunniest and most endearing pop records.”
A highly active member of the social media world and music community, Jeremy was invited to this year’s SXSW Interactive as an example of new and creative ways artists can brand themselves. He was also featured in a recent AOL Spinner piece on the subject as well. Jeremy updates his website every Wednesday with new content, from a b-side track, show announcement, lunchtime video concert, to streaming video from the recording studio allowing for live fan feedback.
Be sure to look out for what Jeremy has to offer on his site from the road and catch him live when he comes to your town!
