Revocation picked as one to watch!
REVOCATION are featured as one of the ten artists to watch in 2010 in the new issue of Spin Magazine. REVOCATION is in the January / February issue of the magazine (on newsstands now) alongside THE SOFT PACK, THE XX, NEON INDIAN, J. COLE, N.NEKA, FOXY SHAZAM, OWEN PALLETT, COLD CAVE, and FREE ENERGY as artists predicted to make waves in 2010. REVOCATION has premiered the first video from their brand new album Existence Is Futile, for the track “Dismantle The Dictator”, online now via Ultimate-Guitar.com. The “Dismantle The Dictator” video was lensed just outside of Boston, MA with video director Dave Brodsky (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SUICIDE SILENCE, WARBRINGER, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD).
REVOCATION are about to embark on a full U.S. tour starting next week in Brooklyn, NY in support of Existence Is Futile. This month-long tour, dubbed the ‘Metal As Art Tour’, will also include HYPNO5E and THE BINARY CODE. REVOCATION has also been confirmed for the Japanese ‘Extreme The Dojo Vol. 23’ tour this coming April along with BEHEMOTH and JOB FOR A COWBOY. This three-city tour is the first Japanese tour for the Boston three-piece. Immediately following the Japanese run, REVOCATION will take part in the recently announced ‘Thrash And Burn European Tour’ alongside DYING FETUS, MAN MUST DIE, ORIGIN and BENEATH THE MASSACRE. This tour will kick-off in early April and conclude with a performance as part of the Neurotic Deathfest in Tilburg.
