This tour will come on the heels of the release of Karnivool’s full-length Sound Awake on February 16, 2010 via SIN/SonyMusic Independent Network.

Currently available in Australia and the UK, Sound Awake has earned KARNIVOOL features and a FOUR STAR review in Rolling Stone and two features and ‘4 Ks’ from Kerrang! The album also came in #25 in Rock Sound’s ‘Top 75 Albums of 2009.’
After recently completing a UK tour with Skindred and a headlining tour of Australia, Karnivool are set to do BIG DAY OUT with Muse, The Mars Volta & Mastodon in January and a European headlining tour before their trip to the U.S.
“We were absolutely overwhelmed with how far people had traveled to make it to our gigs in New York and LA this past September,” notes Karnivool bassist Jon Stockman.  “We figured we really needed to get back as soon as possible and are absolutely pumped to be heading to the States again!”
Produced by Forrester Savell (The Butterfly Effect, Mammal, Dead Letter Circus), Sound Awake is kaleidoscopic & multi-dimensional.  It delivers the band’s trademark sound and takes the listener to new heights as it ventures into innovative exploratory territory.
