Sara (Tegan and Sara) reads for That Summertime Sound
By now, you’ve heard of That Summertime Sound – a rock and roll novel by first time author Matthew Specktor that we’re working. The book follows the 19-year-old narrator as he is forced to choose between going home to Los Angeles to a detached family or a rock n’ roll adventure into the heartland of America.
To accompany the release of the book, audio recordings were made of readings done by Jeremy Irons, James Franco, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, and J Mascis (of Dinosaur Jr).
