**VANDAVEER ANNOUNCES TOUR DATES** NEW ALBUM, DIVIDE & CONQUER RELEASED ON AUGUST 25, 2009
Vandaveer announces US tour dates for August and September 2009 supporting the upcoming new album, Divide & Conquer being released through Supply and Demand Music on August 25, 2009. European dates are scheduled for October with more US dates in November 2009. Vandaveer will play an album release show at Washington, DC’s The Black Cat on Thursday, August 20, 2009.
Vandaveer “revives the earnestness of the pre-psychedelic 60’s,” according to the Washington Post and XM Cafe describing him as “this generation’s Nick Drake.” The new album has received early support from Paste, Filter, Blurt, AOL/Spinner, Large Hearted Boy, My Old Kentucky Blog, Prefix, You Ain’t No Picasso, and regional Washington, DC press.
