New : Jeremy Enigk :: Life’s Too Short
Jeremy Enigk’s second free MP3 from his upcoming album, “OK Bear” is definitely less orchestral than his previous albums. Enigk wanted his voice to be more upfront on this album than its predecessors and while it is, this song reminds me of more of the vocal stylings of a hard rockin’ Geddy Lee imitator than that of the Sunny Day Real Estate founder. The music is ok, it’s just that the vocal sounds so strained at times that it becomes grating…for me. Give it a spin and tell me what you think.
