James Apollo : Dead Men Weigh More Than Broken Hearts

James Apollo returns to New York City to play The Living Room on Friday, May 29, 2009.  This is following a successful 12 show tour of the UK supporting his new release, Angels We Have Grown Apart.  The UK tour included live sessions for the BBC (also endorsed and spun by legendary BBC presenter Bob Harris) and XFM with John Kennedy.  The London Times describes Apollo’s music as “Americana in the truest sense.” and The Scotsman adds his songs are “beautiful, yet slightly unsettling feel of a David Lynch film.” Guy Garvey from Elbow and Andrew Ranken of the Pogues are outspoken fans.

James Apollo has also confirmed performances in Seattle including an in-studio performance on KEXP on Saturday, May 16 at 6pm and also playing live at Tractor Tavern on May 18, 2009.
