NPR.ORG TO STREAM ANTICIPATED NEW ST. VINCENT ALBUM ‘ACTOR’ STARTING APRIL 20th

On April 20, NPR.org will stream the highly anticipated St. Vincent album ‘Actor’ (May 5, 4AD) for 2 full weeks as part of their exclusive “First Listen” series. ‘Actor’ joins an exclusive group of recent releases that have been featured in the “First Listen” series. Other artists include Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Leonard Cohen, Animal Collective, M Ward, Andrew Bird and Neko Case.

At this year’s SXSW, St. Vincent was one of the most buzzed-about artists and was named one of Rolling Stone’s five discoveries there. ‘Actor’ is already receiving praise with Pitchfork calling her “a disturbingly gifted new talent” and Entertainment Weekly describing the new album as “excellent.”
