Crystal Stilts : Love Is A Wave 7″ :: Review
“Love is a Wave” is a single that goes by too quickly. A live favorite, “Love is a Wave” is at times kaleidoscopic and punky burst of pop bliss topped off with the cadaverous vocals of Brad Hargett. B-Side “Sugar Baby” features a droning organ line that would make ? blush. “Sugar Baby” comes on less lyrically developed than “Love is a Wave” but that seems like a minor complaint when everything else is firing off nicely.
