THE ANSWER set to release new album ‘Everyday Demons’ on March 2nd 2009

Explosive Northern Irish 4 piece THE ANSWER are finally set to release their hugely anticipated new album ‘Everyday Demons’, on March 2nd through independent label Albert Productions. The record is a follow up to their successful debut album ‘Rise’ that was released in July ’06 and has now sold over 100,000 copies worldwide, garnering praise from press and legends like Jimmy page as well as awards, including Classic Rock best new band of 2006. The first single to be released from ‘Everyday Demons’ will be ‘On and On’, a digital only release on Feb 22nd ‘09.
Heartfelt, melodic, honest and passionate, with ‘Everyday Demons’ THE ANSWER have delivered a follow up album that even surpasses the incredibly high bench mark set by debut album ‘Rise’. Recorded in the summer of ’08 at Los Angeles studio Seedy Underbelly with John Travis (Kid Rock, Buckcherry, Social Distortion etc) the album is filled with classic tracks in the making, songs to fill up your soul and heart, songs that will leave a mark after the first or 50th listen. Tracks like ‘Pride’, first single ‘On and On’, ‘Tonight’ and incendiary album opener ‘Demon Eyes’ transport you to a musical world of full on classic rock joining their other modern contempories in celebrating a past, glorious time in rock whilst also making it fresh and relevant for our modern times.
The band are currently wowing US fans as the opening act for the current North American leg of AC/DC’s ‘Black Ice World Tour’ and have recently performed on The David Letterman show (November 08), reaching a TV audience well into the region of tens of millions. The AC/DC tour runs to the 31st January in the states, with UK and European dates following all across the early 09 (2 dates at the O2 in London April – all tbc).
Following on from UK and European shows with the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Who and Aerosmith, the ‘Black Ice World’ Tour represents THE ANSWER’S debut tour of America. Coinciding with the tour, THE ANSWER have also released a US version of ‘Never too Late’, a 4-song EP and bonus DVD featuring the title track ‘Never Too Late’ a song that originally appeared on debut album ‘Rise’ and which will also features on Activision’s new game Guitar Hero®: World Tour (out now). The track is also uniquely featured in Activision’s UK December TV campaign for the game on British television.
With all the activity in the US, including unreserved praise from US rock bible Rolling Stone Magazine, who have featured the band in a Ones to Watch ‘09 feature, there is a growing international buzz on THE ANSWER
The band also have a one off headline album launch London date at Dingwalls on the 12th February, with headline dates and tours to follow throughout 09.
