When a film comes along that has the potential to cause you to shed as many tears as ‘Old Yeller’ and then gets stuck in a delay quagmire, people tend to lose faith in the project.  Last year, I remember the trailer for ‘Anvil: The Story of Anvil’ and I was wowed.  Cut to this year, and I’m still left wondering when this film will be released.  I thought it had been released and was available to rent, but I was wrong.  A close confidant told me that this movie looked cheesy.  Obviously, someone does not understand the power of Heavy Metal and I know they will be eating crow when this documentary gets the checkered flag.

    The Story of Anvil will be released in North American theatres on April 10, and on February 20 in the UK.
    Saw it at Hot Docs in Toronto and loved it!!
