Juana Molina : Un Dia :: Review
On ‘Un Dia’ Juana Molina creates an album of polyrhythmic sounds that could best be described as hypnotizing. Unfairly written off as the Argentinean Bjork, Molina creates her music with a driving energy that is propulsive and naturalistic. Molina sings in her native Argentinean throughout the album, which gives the album a unique flavor. Each song seems to melt into another but maintains a consistent groove. This is definitely a worthwhile headphone experience.
