Bands To Watch : Buffalo Killers
Hailing from Cincinnati, the Buffalo Killers are quickly becoming a band to watch. Forming from the ashes of Thee Shams, the Buffalo Killers emerged in 2006 as a more psychedelic proto-metal sounding band. The band is made up of brothers Andrew Gabbard (guitar) and Zachary Gabbard (bass) and former Thee Shams member, Joseph Sebaali (drums). The band has already developed a devout following and is currently opening up for The Black Crowes on their fall tour.
With a sound that can best be described as a mixture of Cream and the Allman Brothers, this band has some serious chops. Their recent album “Let It Ride” was produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and has an almost lo-fi sound. Rootsy and authentic sounding, they’re definitely worth checking out!
