What a great idea! Hours upon hours of movie trailers from cult films, grindhouse, exploitation, blaxploitation, and xxx all from the true golden age of cinema, the 1970′s and early 1980′s. Over these four DVDs you get the best of the worst films ever created (many of which you’ll wonder if they can possibly exist, but rest assured…they do!!). I went to a party that had one of these reels playing in the background on the TV and people eventually gravitated like zombies and were shocked at the stupidity and the genius. I’m sure these packages were created to capitalize on the lack of new Hollywood invention and re-makes of old classic schlock. Watching these film trailers gave me a new appreciation for all of the wacked out film genres. Many of these trailers feature the voice over talents of the late Don LaFontaine, and now serve as a cool tribute.
