Bands To Watch :: Cincinnati
Last night, A Place To Bury Strangers played in Covington, KY (Greater Cincinnati). Two local bands opened for them, the first being Cookie Jarvis. Cookie Jarvis are a three piece who had a sound that was swirly and spacy in nature. They were pretty decent and handed out cds with a couple of tracks on them. One track is below for download.
Another local band, Eat Sugar were danceable. The four piece They had an early 80′s new wave sound with a little bit of agit-rock thrown in for good measure. Eat Sugar were an aggressive band who played like they meant it. Check out two of their songs below.
