The Dark Knight Confusion
This post should be retitled,”How I am going to make my millions.” After watching The Dark Knight, I decided to go to Toys-R-Us to see if there were any really super cool Batman toys. Being a geek, I had no problem finding the Batman toys; probably because they were in the front of the store under a huge display. I did find a rarity amongst most of the Batman toys as the picture below indicates.
I saw that this Batman toy was not like the others because it had a huge glaring mistake on the packaging. This really wasn’t Batman & The Joker as was pictured on the box. As indicated on the back of the packaging, it was something called Stealth Suit Batman & Scarecrow.
Being an alert consumer, I decided to pick this misprint up. When I consulted the fanboys over at Toyfare of it’s worth, I was disheartened to find out that this wasn’t my golden ticket. I’m not going to get to go raid Mattel’s secret toy vaults after discovering this mistake. I’ll keep it anyway. It’s not like my Batman toy from the previous post sold on Ebay. So goodbye millions. I hardly knew ye.
