Saturday Night Dead
I know that joke is hysterical. That’s why I used it. Can anyone seriously think of a time within the past 10 years when this show was funny? The Ashlee Simpson bit was funny, but not for all the right reasons. I was watching SNL tonight, and it’s kind of pathetic, but now I’m blogging about it. I can’t honestly remember when I watched it and laughed. If I had to choose an exact time period, I would say probably around the early to mid nineties when Chris Farley appeared on it. I just checked out the cast list and I don’t know a soul on it other than Kenan Thompson and Amy Poehler. Oh wait, Andy Samberg is on and he’s…nevermind…not funny, the Lazy Sunday skit doesn’t count. I think if there was any post where I was rambling, it’s this one.
